About W & L Sales Company, Inc.
W & L Sales Company, Inc. was founded on May 12, 1933 and was located at Calder and William Streets in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In 1948 Bernard Symons became President and owner of the company. In 1950 a modern office and warehouse was built at the corner of Second and Paxton Streets. A new and larger warehouse was constructed in 1959 at 1201 South Cameron Street. Bernard’s son, Stephen Symons joined the company in 1969. In 1972 Tropical Storm Agnes devastated the city destroying all of the inventory, vehicles and records, while severely damaging the office and warehouse structures, but remarkably we resumed shipping in two days. Stephen Symons was elected President of the company in 1978. W & L Sales moved on April 28, 1978 to our current location at 4050 Industrial Road, and is still thriving to this day at that location and is still in the Symons family.

Our distribution rights include the areas of Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, Juniata, Mifflin, Lebanon, Huntingdon, Clearfield and Centre Counties, as well as that portion of York County north of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Our objective is to represent and distribute all of the brands that our suppliers provide in our assigned geographical areas and contiguous portions of Central Pennsylvania.
